In other words, the closer your prediction is, the higher is the percentage. Accordingly, 20% equals 20 points, and so on.

16. How the rating points are calculated?
|
|
The rating points are added in the following way:
The winner/-s get 100 points notwithstanding the number of points won in the tournament.
For other players that lost in the tournament, the points are calculated according to the definite percent taken from the maximum possible score.
Depending on the accuracy of answers given the points are awarded as follows:
80% -100% +20 points
60% -79% +10 points
30% -59% +1 point
10% -29% -2 points
0% -9% -5 points
If a player during a week or more has not participated in any tournament he gets minus 5 rating points (every week).

17. What are the benefits of rating points?
|
|
The rating points give the opportunity to participate in the own level tournaments without using bonus points. If you want to participate in other level tournaments, for example, an expert willing to participate in a beginner tournament, you must also use bonus points.

18. How calculates points for the answer on question with percent coincidence?
|
For example:
Quastion: The total number of yellow cards in this game
The maximum amount of points for an accurate prediction: 30
Result: 7
Your prediction: 6
In order to find the percentage error of your prediction, we multiply detected coefficient (28) on the difference between the result (7) and your prediction (6). Coefficient can be found in the table coefficients.
The detected result (the percentage error of your prediction), we subtract from 100% to get the exact percentage of your prediction.
In other words, the percentage of accuracy of your prediction is 100% - (1 * 28) = 72%
To calculate the amount of points for your prediction, we multiply the maximum amount of points for an accurate prediction (30) on the percentage of accuracy of your prediction (72%), and divide by 100. As a result, the amount of points you have earned is 22.
